The temple is a bit of a drive for us, but we love to go! If my kids ask to go, we will make it happen... and we will bring others along with us.

Christ's last week walk through
A church building near us did a Christ walk for Easter week. We attended as a YW group. It was so well done, I took Phillip back the following day. We are planning ro go back next year. I appreciate the time people take to volunteer and make such an inspired and uplifting event happen.

Idaho
We got home late Saturday from CDA. Then we had a few days. Thursday morning, Brittany and I headed to the Boise Area. Rissa is getting married in July of 2027. She has chosen the venue. When we got in town, she took us to the Venue. Willow Creek is a BEAUTIFUL place! I am so happy she found this!
Joey brought home Pho from work. Dinner was delicious!
Friday, Rissa and Joey went off to work. Brittany and I met up with my mom and sister to go to lunch. Then Brittany went to get her nails done from her Aunt. Emily does beautiful work, I am always impressed. The real reason we went down was for Rissa to choose a wedding dress. I will not post any of the dresses she tried on. But I loved the set up. She had a mobile dress shop come to her house. I was impressed by the company. Rissa found her dress. To see her face and the tears, I knew the dress spoke to her! And she looked AMAZING!!! I am so glad she wanted me and Brittany there for her to choose the dress.

Jacob turned 18... What? When? How? Because his driver's license was expiring in 5 days we had to take a quick trip to ID. The closest part in Idaho to us is Couer d Alane. Brittany had the flu, Phillip was still wary of traveling after his hospital stay... understandably. Jacob., Evie, Lara and I loaded up the car for a 2 night stay.
We walked around the resort. Spent time in the park. Met up with Marcia and Doug for lunch. Stopped by Dockside for gooey's.Dave was tearing up the dock, so there was a lot of wood. We had a bonfire, cooked brawts, made smores.
The kids took turns in the pedal boat.
It was a great 18th birthday for Jacob. It was fun to be with the Dave and Denise. The trip always go too quickly. But it is never the last!

With Phillip's face disaster, Jacob and I was left to change the oil in the car. I am glad I have a kid willing to help out in a time of need.
We have a friend who had open heart surgery, at 16 years old. The kids made signs for the mom to make a pre surgery video with. The video was shown to her the night before her surgery. She loved the gesture!
We have an elder in our ward that is 6 ft 7 in. His ties seem to be too short for him. Jacob took the opportunity to show Elder Davies how silly it looks when the tie is too short.
